A girl from a small town with big dreams of making it big in the world of events. And oh yeah, this is where I usually kom-plen about everything.

I am in Singapore!
Gotta endure 11 hours of it from Spore to ChristChurch.
2) I think I can spend my family fortune in Changi alone OK. The airport is big la but not big enuf to actually get lost in it.
3) And I hurt the back of my ankle so much that I had to buy new sandals.
4) Tis morning, my uncle gave me B$500. Yup, he's the uncle whom I don't speak more than 10 words in a year.
5) Someone from Brunei called me just now asking abt the band thing. I thought I specifically asked them to contact me before 27th March 2008. Luckily I am clever, I go buy Easi and top up my phone. If not, see how they contact me.

More money!!
And the parents are still in Brunei IA. Coz their flight got delayed. I quickly phoned Lim Peh and tell him, " Lim Peh, you just won 1st prize in 4D!!!!".
:D
Does that means more money for me???
I think if the parents go for a long holiday like 1 month or so, all 4 of us will die of diabetes, high cholesterol and so on from all the junk we eat/I cook.
******************
What shud I bring to NZ? Shorts? I dont have long pants. The only long pants I have is a pair of jeans. The rest are shorts, skirts, mini skirts. I brought 3 jackets. One is super thick one as if I'm going to Alaska to live with Eskimos like that. One is the usual green Land's End jacket. And another one is the pink one I wore when I was chased by a werewolf in Genting.
******************
I bought the eyebrow pencil. Cost me 15.90 OK! Can buy 2 tubes of lip balm already. Now, I have to draw my brow every morning.
******************
OMG! He is so handsome...!! But I hardly get to see him coz he works in the room downstairs and he only comes up sometimes when he needs the pc. And he's an Indian *gasps*. AHAHHAHAHAHAAHAHHAHA!!
I draw my brows for him one OK. So he doesnt think I am sibeh ugly. *frowns*

Note to self: After making sure that your wallet actually has money in it, remember to put the wallet in your bag when you go shopping.

I hope the money is enough.
I'm gonna buy NZ apples for my dad. He likes them a lot. Presents for my siblings. Souvenirs for JXakaSharon, my colleagues. Weee........!

Am I lucky or what?
And the 30 minutes of listening to a rock band perform live in front of you is just.....too loud?
Each time they thump away, my heart thump away as well. The songs are nice tho. It's all in Malay. I CAN still hear some beat, it's not all just shouting. They are confirmed in already.
I drive all the way to KB agn to see the other band. This time, it's a commercial band. The name is Deja Vu. They play for the Gurkhas in Brunei Garrison. I really like them! Maybe coz......2 of the members are hot.
They played 6 songs for me. If I Aint Got You, No One, No Woman No Cry, Deja Vu, Me Love and another song which I have no idea. But I truly enjoy them.
I am trying to work out a budget for them. Initially, I thought I could just invite them to perform for free. Coz you know, being able to perform at a big event is enuf advertisement oredi. But when I asked, they said they are usually paid 1000 for 3 sets. 1 set is 45 minutes.
Jacq and her frens are in the performance as well. They are asking if there is any pay too. Since we are schoolmates, I have to work out some money for them.
One problem solved, another arises. Sien. The only comfort I can get are the 2 hot members of Deja Vu.

I have weird eyebrows.
WTF.
Haiya..........Why must I go to Maggie's Saloon and pluck my eyebrows there?? My butt itchy ha? Got worm arh?
Actually not my fault. It's their fault. I specifically told her I don't want thin eyebrows. She said OK.
And when she's done, I was very surprised to see the end results. Was it my natural expression or was it because of my eyebrows? I was surprised that I look surprised which makes it even more surprising. Ahh, also dunno what am I saying. Eyer.......!!!!!!!!!!
After that, I quickly go to The Body Shop to look for eyebrow pencil. But the makeup lady was off so I am going back tomorrow.
I MUST GET THE EYEBROW PENCIL! AND MY EYEBROW MUST GROW BACK FASTER!
The best one I had is the one in Tutong. I want to got here but it is so far.
I look gao gao ugly now. Blah!
OMG, so random arh u.
I am happy, sad, angry, stressed, disgusted, scared and etc etc.
I want to write down all the things I plan to buy in NZ.
I want to buy a dark blue high-waisted skirt. Dunno if I can pull it off coz my hips are HUGE.
I bought a pwetty skirt for 14 dollars in Bandar.
I bought a brown lipgloss. Weird. From the bottle, the colour sucks but when it's on the lips, it looks great.
I also bought a shea butter lip balm which is absolutely fantastic. And it costs 7.90 only.
I went to Giant last night. The queue was fucking 'you-wont-believe-it'. All the way to the highway. For a second, I thought I was tranported back to Malaysia. Coz the floor was already dirty although it's just the second day. You don't see those kind of dirtiness in The Mall, Yayasan or etc. Just Giant. *shakes head*
I am just random today.

Marina Bay.
We went down to Miri yesterday just to have dinner there. All we know is that it is located in Tanjong but we do not know the exact location. Drove all the way up to Luak Bay and after driving around for approx 1 hour, we were getting frustrated. I was. I mean, what's so special abt this restaurant kan? If cannot find, then don't eat there la! Come back next time in the daylight and look for it la. Shheeesh.
My parents were damned on looking for it. In the end, we did find it. It is located just opposite Miri Chung Hua which is light years away from Luak Bay. Then we saw the sign. It was a fucking small-ass pink one.
HOW THE HELL DO YOU EXPECT PPL TO SEE THAT AT NIGHT??
You are supposed to make a biggggggggggggggggg biggggggggggggggggg one with neon lights so that we can see them and not drive all the way up to fucking Luak Bay. After the entrance, you need to drive through a long and dark road before you finally reach the restaurant.
The restaurant was worth it though. It is huge and there are so many live seafood for you to choose from. The whole restaurant looks like a wooden open mansion. Everything is made of high-quality wood. There is a jetty which customers can take a walk. And from the other side of the restaurant, you can look out to the sea.
That's the restaurant only. The service?? The waitresses are not trained yet. They stand there waiting for you to order. What? You shud recommend us your signature dish or some special dishes so that we know and can decide.
The drinks? We ordered apple juice, lime juice, lemon coke, sprite, 2 ice lemon tea and 1 ice lemon. The lime juice never came and 3 ice lemons came instead of 2 ice lemon tea and 1 ice lemon. I hate it everytime ppl bring me ice lemon when I asked for ice lemon tea.
We could wait if we can. But we can't coz we just spent last freaking hour looking for the place so now we have to rush thru dinner and get home before the custom closes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In the end, we call for the captain and told her to order some quick dishes for us. We had to eat whatever she ordered for us. So she gave us cod fish, asam seafood, a kind of vege and butter prawns. The food was good la.
Sien arh. The total bill came up to RM270+. Expensive hor? But it is expected due to the place, ambience and all that.
I think: Marina Bay needs to train ALLLLLLL the waitresses as soon as possible. Or they are just gonna piss off the customers.

Weird things I do in my sleep
I cry in my sleep. I told you before.
I smile in my sleep. I slp lying on my tummy. And I actually propped my upper body up with my arms and give a HUGE smile and went back to slp.
I try to eat something in my sleep. Yesh. I was dreaming that I had a really big juicy hamburger in front of me. I proceed to open my mouth wide and start chomping. In reality, I was chomping on air.
I wonder what will my hubby think of me if he sees me doing that?
Work
1) I need to learn how to deal with straight-up rejection.
2) When you need something done quick, don't waste time with people down the management chart. Yes, you can be polite with them and give them a sincere smile. That's what I did. You go straight up and look for the one smiling on top.
3) It's better to know how to drive around town yourself rather than depending on a driver.
I called QAF Transport and Eurokars and ask to speak to their General Manager. I got passed around a few people before I reach Dato Chua. He agreed to meet me at 10am. I is excited la!
He is a kind middle-aged man. We chit-chat a bit. He told me they might open up a tent and asked me to look for GM of QAF Auto as well which is just next door. Then he said, "Since you're so young, I don't mind guiding you a bit".
Wow..never knew being 'young' has its benefits. He wrote down all the QAF Auto'a GM's details and gave it to me.
But!!!!!!!!!!!! It was BMW who rejected me in my face!
"Oh..sorry. I can confidently tell you that we are not interested in joining this. Coz it's against our policy. We don't do exhibition with our competitiors like Mercedes or Lexus. We don't want them comparing."
I never knew BMW has such low self-esteem!! God! I had to refrain myself from rolling my eyes at that dude. Yes you, Mr R---- F-------.
I know. Then I realised that I am working and it is something that I have to get use to. Oh well.
Merc's GM was overseas. Volvo's GM was out for a break. I left the documents and my name card there. Am going back to see them agn.
Jaguar's marketing exec is very friendly. She's a lanky lady with a gazillion piercings on her ear and I can smell ciggie from her breath. They seem interested.
Audi's GM is outta town so I spoke to the assistant. They seem interested too. Have to pick a day so that I can meet the GMs face to face. Impression counts. You don't trust someone unless you've seen or talk to them before.
Harley-Davidson's GM and Yamaha's GM are nice too.Pls agree to join OK!! I beg you! After all that talking. Actually I just want to get commission. Heheh.
I am not used to having a driver coz you know, I was born with a plastic spoon in my mouth. I have my parents and frens driving me everywhere I go and now I drive myself. I dun know which tone I shud use with the driver.
Shud I use the bitchy tone or the 'immaboss' tone? Or shud I sound timid? Be soft? In the end, I sound a bit bossy but I used my Ps and Qs.

My parents leaving for KK on the 26th March. My aunt coming here on the 27th March. The two of us will leave for NZ on the 28th March. Then my parents will be back from KK on the 29th March. Sigh....

I am gonna have a band perform for me in their house tomoro night. I hope they're good so that's one problem down. Kim Musical Centre has agreed to perform at the carnival. Things seems to be going on a good but slow start.
Monday, March 17, 2008
I am going to NZ.
The lady boss said I'll be given 20% of the net profit of this carnival. So I was thinking maybe I could set a tent at 1000 bucks so 45 tents will be 45K oredi. Then a meeting with the guy boss let me learn that companies like SupaSave, CoffeeBean may afford to pay but the pasar malam stalls will think that 300 is too expensive.
WTF??????????
I thought Brunei ppl very rich one. Why no money? Eyer......*throws tantrum*
So now I have to set different price for different stores. I won't say how much la. It's so low, it's pathetic. If not becoz in Brunei there's not enough stores, I oso won't resort to the pasar malam stalls.
There's a group of tents next to the tamu in KB. I went there to take some pictures and ask around the pricing. I was told that each tent cost 20 bucks oni! Becoz the government subsidized everything and rent it to them cheaply.
Damn...
Oh, I havent been updating coz there's no monitor on my table and the pc at home is slow like tortoise.
Edit: Did I mention ArchMedia has a driver named Toto? If Toto and Jose can get married, then sure no need to work liau. Every day ho-sey in buying Toto.

Update.
I am back from Bandar!! I was supposed to stay there until this Sat but I had to come back to KB and finish up my job before March 24.
Because I think I am going to
I am in charge of the TelBru Mega Karnival in KB. The date of the Karnival is April 25 – 30. I HAVE TO/MUST finish up and make sure everything is in order before I leave.
Things on my checklist:
1) Visit to chairman of Bandaran and fake fake try to kiss his ass.
2) Come up with the price of the outside tents for food vendors and a proper floor plan for them.
3) Invite exhibitors for the Show in the Dewan Bandaran and invite food vendors for the outside bazaar. I am looking for shops like Dreamcones, Fun Donuts, Pizza Hut, Coffee Bean and so on to fill the space first. And after I deal with them, only then I look for the pasar malam type of stalls.
4) Make arrangements with car showrooms to exhibit their cars at the carnival.
5) Find bands/ breakdancer-s.
6) Come up with more activities that are not the norm. It’s so hard to think of new ones coz basically any games will have to go through the censorship first. Carnival is all about food and fun. So we need a lot of activities and simple but fun games. Like those Japanese carnivals I see on TV, so many games.
7) I need to meet all the exhibitors face to face and have them sign the booking form.
8) See that the set up is going according to the floor plan.
Actually I have more than a month to do so but becoz I won’t be in
Now, abt the
Not chet start work oredi want to take leave arh??
But the lady boss is kind and said oh of coz you can. Just go there and take some pictures and maybe bring back a few ideas which we can use in
Then!!!! My mum told me that there is no ticket on April 10. The only day available is on March 25. So it means I will have to extend my leave up till 1 month. KNN….I go ask my boss agn. This time she took some time to think abt it, then she said yes. Eyer…so throw face arh.
And now, my mum tells me that there are tickets from
I know it’s a good thing to be able to go to NZ zorbing or bungee jumping or go jln jln. But if it going to be so much of a hassle, then I would rather stay in
I thought the plane to NZ will transit in
*************
The days in Bandar are pretty tiring. I have no car so I have to wait till the lady boss is free to send me back to my place. And it is usually 8 or 9pm oredi. And last night, we had a meeting with a guy from BlueWaters Event Management at 9pm and it lasted until 10 ++pm. Reached my place at around 11+pm. But I get to slp until 9am.
He wants to sell an event to ArchMedia Advertising. It is a very big and over the top event. It’s called ‘Dining Under the Stars’. And it’s supposed to be like a 6 or 7 stars treatment. Guests will be escorted by ladies dressed as princesses. Wah, princesses also have to escort the guests ah? Buffet table will have 27 dishes. Entertainment wise, there will be a local artist named Maria (who?). She is rumored to be better than Mariah Carey (wow!! reli meh?). A group of fire breathers and dancers. DJ Izzan and Frankie will be there. Prizes sponsored are tickets to Saigon,
And which part of me looks like a Filipino? Coz the guy said , “Oh, I thought you’re a Filipino coz you came with her”. -.-“
After a bit of chatting, I found out his surname is also Woon. Apalah, make fun of your own tribe. KNN. He showed us a group of performers from
That’s all for now. See if the trip to NZ will jadi or not.

Stupid Blogger.
****
I think I am going to Bandar to stay for a week or so and learn from Amy.
Updated: I am already in Bandar and am going to stay here for a week. I have 6 colleagues and ALL of them are Filipinos. I am the only Chinese.
****
Something is coming up for me and I am excited!!! No worries. It has nothing to do with my job. I dun wan to bore you guys to death with my event thing.
****
I had another weird dream last night. This time, Eddie, Sandy, YeeTzen, Me and a few others were there. We were kinda like house-hopping. We were in an area where there are many of those built-halfway houses.
Then we reached a house which was almost done. It was even painted and a few furnitures were brought in. We entered a kitchen whose walls are painted yellow. Just as we are about to enter, we saw a couple scurried out of the kitchen. The table and cabinets are all made of wood. It looks like something out of a magazine. YeeTzen was hopping happily around the kitchen.
There was a pan on the floor and there were vege-s boiling on the pan. Sandy and Eddie wanted to eat them. So I pick up a piece from the pan and put it in Sandy's mouth. The moment it touches her tongue, her eyes bulged.
" Hok. Hok. Hok. Hok. Veli hok."
" OK."
Then Eddie wanted a piece too. I put a piece into his mouth and he was 'hok hok hok' as well. HAHAHAHAHAHAH....Don't ppl learn??
Anyways, that's where my dream ends. Gosh..!!! How do you spell random?

New Shampoo, new email add, new clothes, thong talk and ho-sey!!
It adapts to almost all kinds and brands of shampoo. Even when I coloured my hair already, I still can use shampoo for normal hair. I can switched from Palmolive to Pantene to Herbal Essences. When I use shampoo for curly hair, my hair doesn't curl. It stays straight. What to do? I have *such* straight hair. Except for *ahem* and *ahem* la. I mean what girl doesnt have curly hair there..
I went shopping for shower gels the other day in Soon Lee. I wanted to get Palmolive Green Tea Shower Gel but I havent seen them in shops for ages!! Why ha???? I want, godammit! So I got the Johnson's Milk Bath. Sigh..It smells nice too. I want to smell good for my laukung le. But now I am alone so I just smell good for myself la.
Opps...back to story. Then I spotted the Herbal Essences Green Tea + Orange Flower shampoo. It's for normal hair and it smells oh so good! There is Raspberry for coloured hair, Orange for volumizing and blueberry/grape for curly hair. I want to try all! So I got the green tea first. It even has a name, 'Drama Clean'. Adorable...!!
The only bad thing is that it doesn't comes in small bottles unlike Sunsilk. So I have to buy the big bottle and use for a long time then only I can buy other flavours. Herbal Essences' marketing team no brain one ha??
Never mind..I am sure my youngest bro will curi-curi use them one. Coz he owez use my shower gel/shampoo. Such a pussy boy! He wants to smell nice but dunno which one to get or he is just plain lazy to get it. So whenever I get a new one, he'll use them sometimes. Just like the BodyShop's Passionfruit Gel.
"Che, you are not using it rite? I use arh."
" AIYA...use la!"
Then I proceed to give him a very cibai face.
Imma sucker for nice smelling shower gels. I need to have at least 2 different gels for me to choose from when I bath. I know...so much shower drama.
*********************
You know you are getting older when you decide to get a new, decent and professional email add like lesleyjoanwoon@gmail.com. And you are damned on not letting people know you have an add like dragoness1078@hotmail.com. WTF. No wonder I have a dragon's ass.
What was I thinking when I got it 6 or 7 yrs back? Wait..I wasnt. Yes, I have gotten a new email add. And I will add you guys later on. Just need to figure out how to use my gmail to log into MSN. Dunno why cannot. Dun tell me! I want to figure it out on my own. Even if it is a stupid mistake, I want to find it out myself.
********************
I havent wear my new tees until now. What to do? No social life. And I am thinking abt getting a set of baju kurung for work. Hmm....must wait til the indian shops got sales then I go buy the cloth la.
Need to buy more new working blouses too. Coz my mum butchered one of my top. It was orange before. Now it is just orange with blue splotches everywhere. Last time, it was too many blouses, too few pants/skirts. Now it's too mnay pants/skirt, too few blouses.
********************
Ok. So I used to hate G-Strings. Coz I don't like the wedgies I think they'll give. But then I was forced to buy one when I got the grey checkered pants. It's black and white with lace. I tried it on at home and it was really much more comfy than I imagined. There's no whatsoever wedgie feeling at all. Then I understand. Last time, I was wearing granny panties. Granny panties = lotsa cloth. So when it is wedged between ur ass crack, of coz it is not comfy. Thongs are different.
Anyways, I like it so I got another one. However, I think my mum lost my first one. Coz I havent seen it since I wore it during CNY. Maybe it's lost among the thousands of granny panties I have. Which makes perfect sense coz it would be like searching for a straight guy in a gay bar.
OK. Must climb more stairs woman.

There's a newcomer in SAS. He's a Filipino designer. And his name is Jose. The boss's brother which is the second pangkat boss calls him HO-SEY!!! HAHAHHAA.....!!! FYI, I know it's pronounced this way OK. But isn't it KO-SEY? Or it is HO-SEY?
Then next year when I gamble, I'll just think of Jose. Sure win money.
Thursday, March 6, 2008
Sigh...
I am alone here in SAS. And I am the only one doing event. Problem? Nobody here knows anything abt it. My boss who's the only one doing the same thing as me is in Bandar. And she hardly comes to KB.
Nobody can teach me anything here. From what I can see, event is not difficult at all, And I have more or less grasped the concept oredi.
What I need is to know who to look for when I want to rent a place for an event. There aren't many venues here n Brunei. If not Empire, then Dewan Bandaran, If not The Mall, then Seri Q-Lap. I just need to know the person in charge.
And ArchMedia's document template so that I can start doing the forms and faxing them to companies. Now I have nothing. Shit.
But not all is bad. Coz I now know that if I want to use any place like the Dewan Bandaran, Padang, all I have to do is see the chairman who is quite nice too, Send him the proposal and geth his permission. Then after that, I go yumcha. Life dealing with events sure is good. Haha..Another thing is also to get the permit from MOH will take approx 1 month. So it's better to plan my events early. Which I did. I have abt nine. Might combine some of them together.
So guys, when you come back in June/July. I'll have lotsa events waiting for you( if the ideas are approved),
P/S: I would also like to say 'Thank God for GP and Mrs Kamini'. Coz it's all abt elaborate, elaborate and elaborate. Gratias.....

My new house!!
We have 5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, 1 home theater room, 2 kitchens, 2 small store rooms and 1 small study/computer room. I share a room with my sis. We have our own walk-in closet!!! But it's just averaged sized. Enuf for both of us. We plan to put cabinets on both sides of the walls and place a big full length mirror in between. And we have our own bath too. No more shouting "Wei..!! You finish shitting oredi???!!! My turn to shit arh..."
My 2 bros share a room too. All the bedrooms have their own flat screen TV. And the home theater room will have the largest one.
The whole house is big la but not big as in like MTV Cribs/ Pehin Orang Kaya's houses' la. Damn poor...
OMG!! Can't wait. When ready liau, then I will invite you all to my open house and show-off to you guys ok??? Hahaha....

*blur face*
I was so 'busy' that I didnt realised it. Fuck. Reached the place at 8.05am and waited for the tauke and tauke-neo to arrive. They only came in at 10am plus plus. The tauke talked to me abt the pricing system and all the people in the office and blablabla.. Then I spent another 2 hours ++ waiting for the tauke-neo to come back from lunch. No internet le. Why? Because on my table only got the flat screen monitor, no CPU. * sweats*
I don't know what to do and how to start first. All I know is that I have an IT Fair coming up and it is going to be held in the Dewan Bandaran.
The proposal is very easy to do. Just need to follow a certain format and change a few things. So I need to find a time with the so-called chairman of bandaran and I had to make sure that my meeting had to suit his schedule summore. Big seed meh??
Haiya...anyways, this IT Fair is obviously not my idea coz I hate IT. I have like ten ideas in my head right now. Can't wait to actually implement them!! And I am going to get my own namecard. Sibeh kambang yo...I can simply just pass them around. I show you guys next time.
All I can say is although the shitty start, I know I am going to love it!

My 3 days of unemployment is OVER.
Even if I don’t get a lot, it’s OK. I am just pumped to start and be able to gain a tiny bit of experience.
Of the 25 movies that I was supposedly to watch, I only got to watch 5 or 6 of them. Cannot blame ba. I sleep until 10+ then wake up shower, eat lunch and muck around a bit. Only then I start at 2pm. 6 movies in 2 days is pretty good la.
I want to watch the musical ‘Jewel of Tibet’. I saw the advertisement on TV. But it’s in KL! Chiu…! Come to
