Being healthy!

It's my third week of 'dieting and exercising'. Must say it is getting harder wtf.

But I do like it a lot. There are so many benefits!

Looser clothing, low level of fatigue and best of all better skin!

The other day, I was just in IRD when Yulia came up to me and asked what skincare I changed to. She noticed an improvement in my skin! Although I did change my skincare and makeup to all 'oil-free', I prefer to believe that it is due to the healthier diet wtf.

******

Oh My Buddha! I can't believe CNY is only 4 days away!

To be honest, I didn't even know CNY is that close until I saw a fren's update on FB.

Man....it just doesn't feel like it over here in Sydney. I don't have my mum fussing over which soft drinks to buy or how much tidbits to last the entire festival.

Also no one to push me to get new clothes for the occasion. In fact, I am working on both CNY eve and 1st day of CNY. Like I said, I didn't know CNY falls on 3rd Feb ok!

It's ok! I'll just wake up an extra 15 minutes early before work and pretti-fy (wtf) myself for the occasion.

Hopefully my love will say Gong Xi Fa Cai to me and give red packet (or a kiss i'm not picky wtf).

********

Anyways, it was Nat's bday yesterday and she celebrated it at La Cita in King Street Wharf. Think South American food and salsa dancing.

Btw, I came across lotsa restaurants in KSW and I really wanna try them. Coz we always go to Seoul Ria, Wagaya, Chat Thai, Szechuan Hot pot wtf.

KSW has some Mongolian BBQ, Teppanyaki restaurant, good Australian seafood restaurants with awesome views.

Once I'm sorta finished with my healthy diet wtf, I will spend a week trying all the restaurants there! Excited!

And here are pictures from that night. Wasn't a lot.

A pic to show you my dress. I bought it from ASOS for US40! It look so awesome on the model so I tried my luck. Paid off! It was so flattering ok.
Giovanni and I.
Nat and I. Didn't realise that we were all wearing the same colour tone.
Us again.
Nat, Dean and Andrea.

Nat and her bf, Micheal.
Toodles~~

Mrs Walter.

Been a long time. As always, nothing much is going on except I've been working and finally going to the gym.

I went to 'pump and tone' and boxing.

In pump and tone, you basically do exercises using weights. You know the kind which body builders carry? Yeah, that one but you get to choose how heavy the weights are so it's all good. I really like it coz the instructor carries out the session in accordance to songs. So like one routine would be equal to one song. And we all know how time easily flies when you are listening to catchy and upbeat songs.

Boxing was horrible. It wasn't like a all-girls class coz I went there at 12pm. The instructor was super cuteeee *flirtatious wtf.

I got paired up with a Aussie guy and I swear he beat the crap out of me. He hits so hard that my palm still hurts! Bitch.

I think I might stick with this gym :)

*******

So I've been working right....and everytime my love would always greet me and talk to me. However, yesterday it seems like he was ignoring me. He did say hi and all that but he was MIA the entire time and he just seems so different!

But I think it's just because he was extremely busy that day coz he had a meeting with the GM, the Director of F and B and since he is the exec chef, he had to be there?? I guess. But he looks so handsome while in the meeting *swooooons

So I was very upset plus it was that time of the month summore. AND AND AND! I burned my hand with boiling water because I am so stupid that I couldn't hold the teapot properly while filling it up.

All that mashed up = Lesley finally cried.

Like wtf. I couldn't control it! The tears just came. My hand stung, I felt like shit and my love wasn't there! Luckily Natalie and Akiyo were there to comfort me.

A few hours later, I asked Nat if I looked like a bitch when I cried wtf.

Anyways, we all signed off at 4pm and then Nat was like Keeven they all are going for dinner and karaoke at 5pm, you shud go!

Me being the wet blanket was like 'Nahhh, I think I wanna go home. Besides I'm on diet, do not want to mess up my diet plan and I don't do karaoke! That is too Asian. wtf'.

But I still went in the end and guess where we had dinner?

CHAT THAI!!!!!

I swear to God only Chat Thai can make me happy. Nothing else! Only Chat Thai. Should I stay in Sydney after graduation, the only reason is Chat Thai (and my love).

After Chat Thai, we went karaoke-d! I didn't sing at first but then they had really awesome songs so we started to sing along and the rest is history! I guess I am very Asian afterall!

We sang to Thai songs, English songs, Indon songs, Spanish songs, Korean songs and it was heaps fun!! I realised why I hated karaoke all this while. I think it's because of the people that I hang out with. They are usually a bunch of Chinese girls who love to sing emo Chinese songs.

Even if they chose upbeat Chinese songs, I can't sing as well because I can't read Chinese so cannot sing along. If I chose English songs, they don't/can't sing along (wtf) and in the end, I end up looking like a fool singing by myself.

Just a few examples of the songs we sang to last night :

It's my Life - Jon Bon Jovi
Mambo No.5 - Lou Bega
I Believe - some Korean artist
Na Na my girl - some Thai artist
5,6,7,8 - Steps
Wannabe - Spice Girls
Cup of Life - Ricky Martin
Bunga Anggerik - some Indon artist
Dynamite - Taio Cruz

Holy shit....I might just turn into a karaoke addict (nooooooo..).

********

So today I was in the lift when door opened and I saw Jun Ju and Adrian. Immediately Adrian was like tickling me and calling me 'Mrs Walter'.

My heart dropped when I heard that because Chef Martha is in the lift too

T________________________________T

She is a very nice European lady who works with Chef Walter too!

She gave me a cheeky grin when she heard that and I swear at that moment, I wanted the lift cable to just snap so we all can plunged 10 floors down to the end!

That Adrian bah!! As if he didn't say it out loud enough, he had to keep repeating it.

"Mrs Walter! How are you today, Mrs Walter? Mrs Walter, Mrs Walter, Mrs Walter"

I seriously do not know how to react when I see Martha at work tomorrow.

The man with the leopard print G-string

The pimple on my forehead still would not die and keeps violating anyone who looks at it.

I put toothpaste, my clay mask, my face scrub tried everythinggggg. Still here.

******

So if you remember, I have previously blogged about doing room service and having all these weird people who open doors in their birthday suits. Jeez.

Let's add another story to that, shall we? Before I start, lemme explain a few details.
1) Runners do get a master key which they can use to open every single room in the hotel.
2) Not all rooms in a hotel are the same obviously. The particular room I will be talking about is the type of room in which when the door is opened, the bed is the first thing that greets you.

8.35am - IRD picked up an order for ice bucket to room 612.
8.40am - Lesley the fool got sent up.
8.43am - Now at room 612's doorstep. Rang bell 3 times. No answer.
8.44am - Opened door carefully with master key and continued knocking on door.
8.45am - A man walked past the bed wearing what seems like a very tiny pair of leopard print thong.
8.46am - He saw me and quickly dodged to hide behind the wall but unknowingly to him, I still can see his entire ass -_-.

OMG!!!!

That minute was the longest I have felt in my entire life. My emotion quickly turned from frustration to fear to shock to embarrassment to just OMG I want to fucking die right now.

After he hid behind the wall, I quickly backed out of the room due to the sudden unpleasant surprise. And I continued to talk to him thru the door wtf.

"You ordered a ice bucket, sir!"
"Oh..just leave it outside"
"Yup, I will leave it outside. Bye"

Wow, awk-warddddd.

As I start to walk away, it suddenly dawned on me that if I can see his entire ass with no panties string cutting into his fatty ass, then he must have been totally naked!

And the "leopard print thong" was actually his pubic hair. Damn, it was thick. Didn't think I saw any penis at all. Maybe there was but since I had zero hours of sleep last night, I was operating on zombie mode. Might have entire overlooked it.

I mean, cmon! I might have a crush on an old man now but that doesn't mean I enjoy watching naked old men because I do not wake up everyday and wonder what my love would look like naked ORITE! It's just wrong on so many levels.

Thank God he did not make a complaint and say to Mr Burns like " I was just walking out of the shower this morning and that girl with the hugeass pimple on her forehead barged in and caught me naked! " .

Ow, that would be terrible.

To be honest, these encounters happen quite often (to other people as well). We have a Scottish girl named Allison and one day, she was delivering amenities. The guy in the room must have been sleeping in his undies and didn't realise that one of his balls was hanging outside the undies.

And thus, he opened the door. With one ball on full display. But I find it hard to believe tho. Guys are SUPER sensitive towards that area, trust me. To have that would be like having one ball in lukewarm water and the other in icy cold water. How can he not felt that?

Anyways, there are plenty of stupid people in the world.

And I wonder what I'll see next.

Why am I so LAZY!

I don't usually do new years resolution because it's just like a topic people can use to write up a blogpost wtf.

Btw, this massive pimple on my forehead is killing me right now. It is sooo big that even har gao also lose ah.

Back to topic. So yeah...usually I don't really tell people what I plan to do. I mean yeah I do sometimes but that's because I just like to talk or write (typical).

Like I told you guys I'll be doing Spanish in Jan right , now got or not? Also don't have wahhhh.

The thing is I almost never finish what I started. To be honest, if school was a voluntary thing with no teachers and no need to graduate/pass, heck I don't think I'll make it past Primary 1. The only thing that I always finish is the food on my plate. -_-

But this year I want to be different. Not like making up certain tasks which I will finish but my goal, wait scratch that. Goal is too vague.

My OBJECTIVE this year is to stick to whatever I'm doing for at least 1 month (gotta start small).

How's that? I think it's pretty fair.

This month, I plan to save up hardcore (like super hardcore, think at least 5K by end of this year). My concentration is on saving up each month, not the 5K at the end so maybe i'll end up with less or more than 5K). So if I do this for 1 month, then another month, another month, so on.....then it should be ok. I mean so far, I have saved 1K. So it shudn't be hard ;)

OKayyyyyyyyyyyyyy.

I'm going to work now and hopefully my semangat won't die ten minutes later.

My love for gingers.

Not the ginger you slice and put in your cooking.

Red-heads.

Anyway, on Sun I dunno what happened but all of a sudden I felt the strongest motivation to diet and exercise.

I have wanted to find a pool for the longest time but was lazy (honest).

Then Rob was telling me that the Ia Thorpe Aquatic Centre is just like 10 mins walk away. I was like wtf! why didn't you tell me earlier and proceeded to flip him the bird (everyday).

I woke up late on Monday and only got to the pool at around 1.30pm. I got in the pool and started swimming in the slow lane. By the time I reach the halfway mark, I was SO out of breath FTS.

I was so tired! I mean yah the pool is Olympic sized pool but the least I can do is finish 1 lap rightttt. Nope! 1/2 lap only.

Then I had to shamelessly hold on to the lane divider and pull myself to the end.

:(

Ohhhhhhhh holy mother of goddddddddddddddd. Why is this happening!!!

I love swimming so much but now I cannot even do 1 lap without looking like a loser T___T

Then the entire time I was there I only did 4 laps and the rest of the time was spent bombing the pool with this little ginger girl.

It was random. After finding out that I am useless even in the slow lane, I moved to the free play lane. Was standing in the water when this little red-headed girl started jumping into the pool near me.

She came up and gave me a smile. I smiled back. Then she started to talk to me.

Her name is Emma and she is 4 years old. I freaking love her hair ok. It curls naturally and it is the pretty kind of curls not like small spirals which is super auntie-ish.

I saw that she was with a 'can-be-considered-old' man so I asked "Are you here with your grandpa?". To which she replies "What grandpa? I don't have a grandpa". I pointed to the man and she said "Oh, that is my dad". I was like "Holy shieeet, this is awkward. I hope her dad didn't hear me".

WTF! Why these things always happen to me one!

So yeah, we became pool buddies in like that 1 hour where we bombed the pool, monkey bars, racing (she wins of course wtf) and chasing.

Her older brother Alex (who is SIX btw) joined us after his lessons and again we're playing in the pool like crazy.

I told her I was getting my nails painted and she wanted it purple and purple it was! A deep purplish wine colour (I love them!).

I wanted to go back there again today the same time (altho her dad warned me beforehand because he was afraid Emma is going to annoy me agn) but I was working and finished way later than I was supposed to.

Oh wellsssss. She is such a cute girl, I think I will definitely consider adopting a ginger baby in the future :)

This is definitely related but that incident with the whole grandpa/dad thing makes me wonder if IF IF la, I married a much older man and have kids, will the same thing happen to them as well? I mean Emma said her mum is at work while I see her dad is accompanying the kids to the pool on a Monday. But maybe he's a successful businessman who doesn't have to clock in routinely for work like the rest of us do.

Life is full of different paths and decisions. But I think I know what I want.

******

Today is my first shift back in banquets in 2011 wtf. And my love is back too <3<3<3

Looking charming just as always :)

Did 7 hours and realised that I need to step up my game because I was a bit lost today. Worked too much in Mosaic and had it too easy up there. Wasn't mentally ready for the usual banquets shift.

GoGoGo!

Change of mind

I was wrong!

Murad's Mattifier does shit on my face. It didn't work at all in keeping the oilies away. WTF. I really liked it when I first tried it on my forehead. However, after using the sample for like 3 days, I realised it doesn't work at all. Bullshit.

Which means I now have to try Benefit's Dr Feel Good.

I am using the Mecca sunscreen now and it is REALLY good. It's a hydrating facial sunscreen.

Every morning after I cleanse, I slap on the sunscreen. For me, it acts like a moisturiser, sunscreen and primer. BB cream and all that makeup.

Spend an entire day at work and walking for a bit outside in the hot humid weather, my face was only slightly oily which is normal I guess. So I really really like it.

Also got myself a liquid liner from Revlon. Again, glad I trusted the reviews online. It is so easy to use and it doesn't smudge at all even on my oily lids. I cannot for the life of me use kohl liners because I would look like a raccoon in 5 minutes. It is that terrible!

Anyways, the next big thing on my to-buy list is the Aesop Parsley Seed Anti-Oxidant Serum. Time to ask for samples again (shameless wtf).

*******

I didn't know Kim Clijsters had a daughter. I saw them yesterday during breakfast. At first I was like is that her sister? They look just a senior-junior version.

Then Jun told me it is her daughter then I was like no wonder!!!!

But that girl is so precious tho. So cute! I just want to put her in my pocket and take her home!

Anyway, my love (wtf!) has been missing from work for 10 days now because he flew all the way to Singapore to attend a friend's farewell party. He's back next week and I can't wait.

Btw, I saw a really cute porter boy. I always bump into him at the LunchBox and when I'm delivering room service.

I never say this but I actually think most of the porter boys are pretty cute.

Suli is always teasing me by asking me to go for younger guys and that porter boy is perfect. Yeah I think he is cute too but cute guys never like me. Oh well.

I passed I passed I passed I passed I passed!

I passed ALL of my subjects!!!

1D and 3 Cr.

Ready for this?

I got a Distinction for my HR Planning and Performance! The subject that I was dreading the most!

Saw whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

Which would have mean that I nearly aced my final.

*thinks for a bit*

Man!!! This is confusing! How can I get such high marks for HR when I knew my essay was a goner? Maybe he saw some sense in it?

OMG. Please don't let this be another mistake just like last term.

But they have my actual marks for all 4 subs.

Finance - 70
International Events - 65
Stats - 65
HR - 77

So I *just* managed two Credits because if it was 64, it will be a pass only. Which I'm fine with both because I was expecting a pass only anyways.

Was a bit disappointed with Finance but it wasn't too far from what I expected.

HR. I will always freaking remember this subject because it is the only one that has put me in this roller coaster ride on how I felt.

Happiness, sadness, surprises, anxiousness, confusion, amusement holy mother son of fucking bitch.

I am SOOOOOOO glad it is over!

Now I can fully enjoy my holidays without any worries!!!! So happy!

Real-life Barbie.

Oh hi. It's been urm 4 days since my last post. U know you have no life when you know exactly how many days have past wtf.

I was busy watching The Hills + Family Guy and playing video games.

And working as well. After having 5 consecutive days off, I finally went back to work on Sat (double shifts), Sun (Lobby Bar) and today (Mosaic).

Anyway, Sydney is currently hosting the Medibank International Tennis Competition or something similar to that nature. All the tennis players are staying in house with Westin.

To clarify straight up, no Nadal or Federer or Williams or Sharapova. Those people go to the Melb one ok!

In this tournament, the most popular ones would probably be Kim Clijsters, Jelena Dokic and Marcus something (a Greek guy).

They are always hanging around the Lobby Bar, having coffee and chatting.

I can tell you 2 things right now.

1) Clijsters is actually so much prettier and more feminine in real-life as opposed to what you see on TV. On Sun night, it was a cocktail party for all the players, the media as well as the sponsors in the Lobby Bar lounge area. She wore a beige top with a pair of very flattering olive green pants. She had minimal makeup on and her hair was tied loosely. Beautiful.

2) Dokic is not very friendly in person. Doesn't even flick a smile at anyone. Constantly with her bf/trainer. But I can tell you why she wasn't smiling much because she is OUT of the tournament now. Karma!

I didn't really see a lot of hot guys there except one but I didn't know his name.

So that's how my weekend went.

******

The results are supposedly out this morning but however, there is still nothing now (how typical).

I am guessing it will be out around 5 or 6pm. Just like last time.

*fingers crossed*

New makeup!

Not yet purchased :p

But I have done all the necessary research and samples I need to do a skincare and makeup overhaul.

Today, after getting some DVDs, I decided to pop by Myers to ask around for samples.

I went to Benefit, Lancome, Mecca, Clinique, Bloom and Shiseido. I was looking for new moisturiser, new primer, new foundation and mattifier.

Bloom - Asked for sunscreen. Tried on my hand, didn't quite like it as it felt a bit greasy (this is even though the sunscreen is made for oily-skin, acne-prone face). Got a sample anyway.

Benefit - The saleslady tried on a tinted moisturiser/sunscreen on me. It was alright but I didn't quite like it. It felt a bit too cakey. Then I tried on a mattifier as well. I like that one - although again it felt powdery and thick.

Mecca - Tried on the Murad Mattifier. I like that one better than Benefit. Asked for sample.

Lancome - Told the lady I was looking for a oil-free foundation with matte finish. Coverage irrelevant. Wanted to try the Teint Miracle but the saleslady recommended Teint Idole Ultra in 010 instead. She put some on my face and the result was good. It gave me a good coverage but doesn't look cakey.

Clinique - The lady at this counter recommended Even Better SPF15 in 01. The result was same as Lancome's. Although I like it a lil bit better than Lancome's. So I continued shopping around.

Shiseido - The lady at Shiseido used the most products on my face. First of all, she used a mattifying moisturiser followed by the Refining makeup Primer. And then she applied Dual Balancing Foundation in 120 on one side of my face. Result? The smoothest I have ever seen of face with makeup on.

I have no idea if it was the primer or the mattifying moisturiser but damn my skin sure looks good.

So now I have a clearer idea on which products I will use.

Cleanser - Formula 10.0.06's Best Face Forward. It's a drugstore brand but it's very popular and have really good reviews online.
Moisturiser - Am divided between Origins Make a Diference and Shiseido's Mattifying Moisturiser. But I think I am leaning more towards Origins because Shiseido has a large percentage of alcohol in it.
Sunscreen - At first I wanted Clinique Super City Block Sheer SPF 25 but then I found Mecca sells this sunscreen called 'To Save Face SPF 30+" and it actually has better reviews than Clinique.
Primer - Definitely Shiseido Refining Makeup Primer.
Foundation - Divided between Clinique Even Better makeup and Shiseido Dual Balancing Foundation.
Mattifier - Again definitely Murad.

OMG. I cannot wait to start shopping for all of them! I really love makeup and skincare :)

I love Disney princesses.

Do you know there is an official Disney Princesses website????

OMG. I went crazy playing their games, listening to their stories and playing dress up.

On their homepage, you get all the princesses in front and when you hover your icon over them, they'll talk to you *amazed wtf.

I think all the princesses sounded alright except Aurora and Snow White. Sw sounds too squeaky/fake and Aurora sounds and even looks a bit like a man wtf.

Aurora, Belle and Pocahontas are my 3 fav princesses. But dayum, what the fuck did they do to Aurora??!! They change her hair colour from ash blonde to taxi-cab yellow and make her look like a freaking tranny! Seriously, watch the Sleeping Beauty (1950s) and you'll know what I'm talking about.

Just ranting.

Anyways, here are my picks on their costumes.

Mulan. I tried to stick to the style and background of the princesses.
Cinderella. Blonde, white-silver dress. Self - explanatory.

Ariel. I initially chose a blue wavy dress because it represents where she's from and it also complements her hair colour but for some reason it didn't quite work out. So I ended up with a red dress which is urmm..

Snow White. This dress suits her to a T. It's not tight-fitted and it's very innocent. And she's carrying a basket of apples.
Princess Tiana. This is a bit hard because I have not watch Princess and the frog yet so I don't relate to her story but since she's with the frog, why not green?

Pocahontas! One of my fav Disney princess because she's so awesome and cool like even without trying. I stuck to her tribal background in this dress.
Jasmine. I was undecided between two dresses but was too lazy to print screen the other one wtf.

Belle. She's French and her original colour is yellow. So this is basically a cardigan over her dress.
Aurora. Sorry, Merrywether. I like pink better on Aurora. Aurora's dresses weren't that pretty so this is the best I could pick I think.

I am just BORED!! Been watching Disney princesses movies on YouTube like 2 days now. I love happy endings :)

NYE 2011

So I shall present you with a few not-so-interesting pictures because there are only 3 of us wtf.

My bro and I. Why la my stance so awkward?

Throngs of people.
More people. GAHHHHH
Eating Maccas at 10.30pm is the way to live wtf.
Opps. Camwhore. This is what I look like after work.

Our view sitting down. So poor..have to sit down among the weeds and plants.
Yeah!!! Finally it starts.
The bridge is just right in front of us.

People mountain people sea at George St.
And btw, I recently bought myself two lipsticks from StrawberryNet again. It was like 'Sale! 40% off!!' so I went browsing. Found two shades that I liked. Just received them today.

Tested them on my hand. The pink shade is called Rose Croisette by Bourjois and the reddish one is Corail des mers by Bourjois as well.

No flash.
With flash.

I have to say I really like it and it is one of those impulse purchases that I do not regret. It's very mositurising and very easy to apply. Can even double up as a gloss. So yeah! More shades for me to use when college reopens.

And moving on to more purchases, I bought this LCD TV from a German guy (the irony!) in Waterloo for $150! Freaking bargain ok! It's only 26 inches but hey, it's enough for us to play the PS.

Through this process, I realised that I secretly enjoy learning about the guys stuff like electronics as well as shopping for them ;)

The next time I get a place of my own, I'll buy a spanking new bigger TV for myself :)

I also made a couple more purchases from Ebay for the games. My bro wanted the Call of Duty: Black Ops. It sells for at least $95 here and I bought the game from Ebay for $58 (thank God for the strong AUD currency!).

I bought Tekken 6 as well and I shall receive them soon :)))

I am currently playing a game called Facebreakers. I swear to God it is the best stress reliever ever!

Basically if you play the practice mode, your opponent can be made a dummy while you 'practice' your moves on him/her.

I beat the SHIT out of my opponent and at the end of the game, you get to see your opponent's face all swollen and distorted because you BROKE HIS FACE muahahahhahahaha!!!

I'm evil. Ciao!

2011 is here!

Happy New Year!! Why la am I always 2 days too late to wish people.

Anyways, I was working as usual on NYE. Finished at about 9pm and off my bro, his friend and I we walked to Circular Quay. The entire George St was closed from Town Hall onwards.

It was actually pretty cool to see the entire road filled with people of all kinds (including ang moh lakos in other word bogans). Families with little screaming kids waving their light sticks around, Maccas super busy because no one wants to pay $10 for a burger.

The 3 of us reached The Rocks at 10pm. The process of finding a seating place was excruciating. People are pushing/yelling/stepping on each other's feet. Stupid. After 30 minutes of playing human sandwiches, we finally found a spot.

It was excellent! We could see the Harbour Bridge directly in front of us. But what I didn't know is that the fireworks go off in 5 different spots WTF!

So when the clock struck 12, fireworks started at Harbour Bridge for 10 seconds and then it moved on to the Opera House where we COULD NOT see anything because there was a fucking tree!

Ya Allah! Can don't so potong steam anotttttt WTF.

It was pretty shit tho. The entire thing lasted like 15 minutes and then mai-tan! Finished! Everyone go home. And I had to wake up at 5.30am to go to work. Shit.

I might as well go home and sleep!

Dunno if this is a sign of things that will come my way in 2011 but fingers crossed it's not. Because results are coming out on Jan 10th (fuck!).

And tomorrow is my first day off after the long 13 days! Actually it's because there is no shift otherwise I would still be working.

*************

2011 is the year that I will finally graduate. As in with the whole ceremony, dress, hat and all that shizz.

With that piece of paper, I will venture into the working world trying to secure a stable job that will enable me to achieve things that I have constantly day-dream about.

I do have a few plans in mind. It's always good to have Plan B, Plan C and so forth.

Couldn't help but notice this. While reading a few blogs around (belonging to friends/friend of friend), I constantly come across posts about the phase of growing up or rather the reluctance or doubts of growing up.

The authors write about the uncertainty that they face once they graduate and reminisce on the 'good ol times' where bills and responsibilities were not part of their lives. And there are actually people who will continue to study just because they don't want to leave the comfortable world they are in.

It's fine if you are continuing your studies for the sake of improving your education qualifications but to escape from the so-called 'harsh world'?

For me, I cannot wait for the day I am able to implement my plan because that is the day I am responsible for my own life, actions and future. I know that there are plenty of opportunities out there for me. I am able to do whatever I want (within limits) and make decisions for myself and it is great! A privilege if you want to call it.

I am close to that stage right now although not entirely because my studies is still funded by my father. However, I pay my own rent, put food on the table and earn my own spending money.

Again, I still don't have much freedom with that because according to my mum - you're still a student. try to save as much as possible. only spend when you are really working. Always happens when I'm trying to buy stuffs for my siblings.

As for those people who are 'reluctant' to grow up, in their defense it might be because they have so many choices they don't know which to choose or they have not actually figure out what they really want. Well, this is why you should make an effort to think it through.

I wouldn't use the word God but let me phrase it this way. You can only achieve results if you put in the effort.. Like you need me to tell you that. It's common sense.

If you put in the time and effort to think it through and do some research on what you want in life, I'm sure there are opportunities for everyone. And some luck would come in handy too.

So here I am in 2011 with 2 more semesters to go. 11 more months in Australia. I will make full use of my time here to gain as much knowledge as possible in order to increase my chances of Plan A (that is marry an old man and get citizenship WTF). Just kidding you know that right?

2010 was a great year for me. Worked a lot, gained the trust of supervisors at work and a whole lot of experience in the hotel (worked in 3 different departments), spent a lot of time with my colleagues and friends at work and school.

Didn't travel at all! Boo but that will change because I have a trip coming up soon in Feb :)
Didn't get to spend much time with my Brunei friends as well. I feel bad. Need to manage my time more wisely.
Didn't blog much as well. Hahah..well guess I was just too busy. To blog more will not be one of my so-called goals this new year.

I welcomed the new year with a new LCD TV (well, 2nd hand but still new to me wtf) and new games for the PS3! Imma be playing video games the entire week and be fat and happy!! I also bought a special edition controller online in RED for me. Yesh! No one will use that controller except me muahahhahahaha!

Seriously I have been buying so much things online it's against the law. But it makes me happy knowing that I have something to look forward to everytime I open the mailbox :))

OK this has been a very moody post but I wish everyone had a good 2010 and will have another awesome 2011. Most importantly, stay happy and healthy and vain so FB stays interesting wtf.

P/S: I did take some pictures. They will be up maybe tomorrow :)
