Being a maid.
Hello everybody, my name is Lesley and I'm a maid. WTF
Since coming back from Sydney, I have not been very productive.
Daily routine - wakeup, brush teeth, eat breakfast, play with dogs (Man Man & Pudding), shower, eat lunch, drive my mum around town for errands, walk the dogs, evening mini exercise wtf (i'm getting fat and lazy!), eat dinner, wash dishes, shower, watch TV, take the dogs out for pee pee, sleep.
Rinse and repeat x 3 weeks.
Every now and then, I go to the post office to mail my job applications. I have sent 3 so far.
1) Brunei Methanol Company - Corporate service Staff. They are looking for event staff. I actually really want this because it is my field and my mum says the company pays real good. But I sent in my application 2 weeks after closing date so chances are pretty low.
2) Empire Hotel and resorts - no position yet. They gave me a call yesterday asking me to go for an interview. Finally a glimmer of hope. However, the guy said there are no promises. Just that he wants a proper interview with me and show me around the hotel so he knows where to fit me in. Hopefully it's a good position *fingers crossed* I really don't want to jinx it!
3) Brunei Press Sdn Bhd - Marketing and Promotions executive. Also looking for executives to handle events for their company as well as other promotional ideas and etc. To be honest, this wouldn't be too bad either. Hopefully they call me for an interview too.
It sucks being at home and not doing anything. If I was still in Westin, I would have earned a couple of grand already wtf.
At least my parents are being nice about it. They were like 'Take your time in these matters. Just see it as taking a long rest after working so hard while you were in Sydney'. Maybe I'm destined for a life of hard work FTW. Cannot seem to rest well if I'm not working hard.
I am keeping my fingers crossed that I will get a job by the end of this year.
