Family.

As much as I really want to finish my IT and go home, I can't help but realised that although I complained a shitload but I actually enjoyed my time there.

I feel like Westin is part of my family and do not want to leave the people (certain people) working there. They have been so nice and so helpful.

And I am going to miss working like 40-50 hours a week earning a lot of moolah.

It'll be back to Manly and taking classes and doing assignments. Back to fighting with other students for a spot in the computer lab becoz everyone has their break and wants to log on to Facebook wtf. It is moments like these which made me wish I am a smoker then I can go to the smokers' spot.

But whatever. We humans are never satisfied. Once you have this, you'll miss that. Once you have that, you'll miss this.

However, I am lucky that I will still continue working in Westin when I start term 5 next year altho not as much as I used to. Maybe one shift a week and it's between Mosaic or banquets.

On another note, I am also excited to go back to school coz I do kinda miss it. It's been almost 6 months since I went there. Term 5 is going to be harder and even more challenging coz we have Marketing 12345 wtf and I do not like marketing.

Oh well. Btw, I finished my assignment with only 1400 words. Fuck it.

Suli called me the other day and told me Sat and Sun morning are available and I asked her what abt night instead? And she gave it to me. :))

THis week I had 4 shifts in banquets but I gave my Wed shift to Tiffany the Viet girl because I needed that day to finish my assignment, watch more episodes of The Little Nyonya and go out for dinner with the bunch of them.

Which wasn't so much fun becoz I am still sick and I did not feel like joking around. It was just eat and go home. Wet blanket wtf. Not to mention, I look like death too.

I want to go to Bora Bora!! But that place is damn expensive yo! Like only celebrities go there wtf.

We went to watch Couples Retreat on Mon just before he went back to Brunei. Dunno why he chose to watch that movie but it was good. Funny and the scenery is just breathtaking.

Even Hawaii also lose ah. Actually I wouldn't mind going to Hawaii if I can haha.

If you like beaches and the sun, the cheapest option would be to go to Krabi/Bali < Fiji < New Caledonia < Hawaii < Tahiti < Carribean. I dunno abt Mauritius or other places but these are the ones I know so far.

From Sydney, you can get a 4 night/day accom in nice hotels plus flights for $600. And then Hawaii, it'll go up to $1000. Hmm....maybe when I get my tax back :)

I finally went for a massage on Mon too!!! Like finally.

But then, after we finished the massage, we came across another place like 2 steps away which offers the same thing but 11 bucks cheaper. Mahai.

I am working sorta average hours nowadays. Like about 35-40 hours a week. Which is not so bad. But I wish I could work more. However I'm lazy. Like they called me and ask if I could work I'm like 'Sorry, I have my other job' when I'm just lying in bed listening to my Ipod.

Haih. I did 40 hours last week. Another 10 hours yesterday. So I need another 30 hours. It's ok. I have 2 more shifts in banquets. And Frasers need me for Sun morning. I might ask for a Sat and Sun night in Mosaic.


Then it's my last 4 weeks in Westin!! OMG! I can't believe it! I made it thru my IT! It seems like ages ago when I just started and was like donkey-ing around. Working 40 hours a fortnight and thinking 'yeah, that was a busy week!' and muka damn tired. Padahal, that's nothing.

Oh well, I earned a lot. Spent quite a lot too but managed to save up a bit as well. And hoping to get my tax back soon!

Today was so awful :((

I was supposed to meet JW they all at Central Station near my place but when I reached there, I couldn't find them coz they were at the OTHER side of the station.

PMS makes me angry at everything! I was peeved at them coz they were at the OTHER side instead of the side I was referring to. Which is not their fault at all but I was boiling inside. And then when I found them, I tried to drink my Easyway which leaked and dripped down my top.

SO FUCKING ANGRY CAN KILL YOUR NEWBORN BABY!!!

How the fuck can it leak? I drank my Easyway millions of time the same way and it never drip. I was abt to burst into tears already.

Then all was fine again. I was cheered up when we go to Burwood for their famous lobster noodle. The plate of noodle cost us $170 ok. But there were 7 of us so it was alright. A few other dishes and we called it a night.

I was seriously very full already but my mouth was still itching to eat. I gotta stop otherwise no one is gonna feel sorry for me if I get fatter. Not even me wtf. This morning I had yoghurt and mango and then a packet of Indomee and now this huge dinner! It's gonna get worse thruout the week I tell u.

Dammit. Why can't the period just come!

Guys, the Clearasil pimple cream really works. In fact, it is so strong it burnt off the top layer of my skin. Like I tried to rub my pimple which is dried and looking a million times better and then I got these skin-like thing. Then I realised that it's my own skin from my face.

Woah!

It actually tingles quite a bit when you put it on. But I like that sensation. Feels like mint on my chin.

This is a keeper.

Big shit this time for real!

But not my shit la.

It's the roomie's. As my current Facebook update says, I have reasons to believe that she might be pregnant.

Why?? Why so stupid??

Anyways, here is why I think she is...*sigh*.

1) The conversation between her and her fren on phone.

Roomie: He told me in his country, this is very common. And girls always take the pills.
Fren: (obviously I do not know what she said) xxxxxxxxxx
R: He also said now we have 2 options: get married, start a family or get a abortion. He never think about starting a family so early tho.

Bloody hell. Abortion, start a family give it away didn't it?? wtf.

At first, I thought she might be talking about someone/a fren/whoever. But then she has been acting all weird recently.

2) She used to be a good girl like rarely go out. And remember the coffee incident? Well, I assume she broke up with that guy who saved her and if not mistaken, she's with this Lebanese dude who always brings her clubbing at Bamboo wtf. I saw them once.

3) She has been dressing quite 'sparingly' too. It used to be cardigan, long pants whatever. I know it was winter before and now it so blardy hot. But still...it get cold sometimes. And the hemline didn't go down.

4) I think she brought him home a few days ago. I can hear him in the living room but it was really soft. Can't make out what they said.

5) She is now in another room talking to the other Chinese flatmate whom she rarely talks to. I walked past and was surprised with how stern the flatmate sounded. Like she was teaching the roomie what to do about this situation.

So based on all the above reasons, MUST BE GOOD NEWS LA!!!

Anyways, we'll see if she will approach me to say anything. Gossip! If not, then something has to happen in the near future that will either confirm my story or prove that my imagination is way too wild.

Meet the pimple.

P/S: Don't read this if you still want to eat.

Ok, I'm someone who seldom gets pimples but when I do, it's usually those HUGE and PAINFUL ones.

So ya know, days are as usual then all of a sudden, I woke up with this huge thing on my chin yesterday morning. Bloody hell.

The pimple is at the EXACT SAME spot the previous pimple scar (I do have 2 pimple scars on my chin. Those are my only scars on the face and it really annoys me).

It was still relatively new so I quickly stopped by the pharmacy and picked up another pimple cream (Nivea pimple stick is a load of bullshit. Don't buy them). This time, I tried Clearasil which promises in their words 'visibly clearer skin in just 4 hours'.

Slapped a huge amount on my chin and waited while I work of course. Instead, it seems to ripen the pimple!!! I could see that pus had formed and it's just painful and waiting to burst or some shit.

This morning, I woke up to a even bigger pimple. Went to work and halfway thru I couldn't take it anymore coz I felt like everyone is talking to my pimple instead of me.

Went to toilet and decided to squeeze it(I never touch my pimple but this time, I have no choice). Not like with my fingernails and stuff la. I just hold my pimple with a small amount of flesh around it and apply pressure.

SPLAT!! On the mirror. Ok, not. The pus came out and I tried to squeeze the remaining pus out then, it started to bleed!! What the fuck mate!!

It bled so bad that it trickled down my chin. I never had a pimple that bleed before!! Can you see the other scar next to the trail of blood?

It stopped already la. Then while waiting for the lift, I decided to pick at the scab that formed. Guess what?

IT BLED AGAIN!!!!! SECOND TIME BLOOD DOWN MY CHIN. AH!

I quickly use a napkin and cleaned it. I did not dare to touch it anymore...

But I had to say it actually look better after all that bleeding.

Dammit!! Is it just me or the pimple cream did shit. Maybe my pimples are so 'powerful' that creams just don't work and I must let it slowly recover?

Maybe a more expensive cream is the answer?

I am in such a bad mood now. It must be the PMS.

Back to depression.

Can't believe Sat and Sun went with just a blink of an eye. Actually not. It felt like forever.

I worked 2pm-12am Sat night and today was from 6am-10.30am and 12pm-6pm. I was supposed to go at 10am but my life is damn fucked one la so just when I was about to go, a LARGE group of guests decided it's fun to have breakfast at the same time. Mahai.

Luckily I gave myself 2 hours in between when I told Shaaban I have to go at 10am. Coz usually I would give 1 hour only to change out of Fraser uniform, take bus to Westin, get Westin uniform and change.

You think very easy right? It does take approx 1 hour to do that. Although Fraser and Westin is like 3 blocks from each other.

Damn...!! I hate that Shaaban. He already promised I could go at 10am which is why I said yes to Sun morning. But when 10am came, he pretended he didn't know. And At 10.15am, I said I have to go, he was like 'Why??'. Then I was like 'You promised I can go at 10am'. He asked me to stay another 15mins.

See!! Sien one. Am really thinking of quitting. Coz both the full-timers are on leave and which is why they now 'need' me. Giving me like 3 shifts a week. He even asked me if I can work next next week wtf. I can predict the future ah?? Which I do not want. I want to work in Westin.

Maybe I'm just lazy but in Frasers, you have to do everything. From checking if the buffet is stocked to clearing tables to getting resets and all that shizz. In Westin, the chefs take care of the food, IRD ppl do the resets and we, the ones on the floor - do the clearing and taking care of the guests.

The shittiest thing is they always never have enough resets because they refuse to fold more napkins/get more cutlery because they want to send us home asap to save on our wages. It used to be alright but recently they had quite a long 'quiet' period which is why.

Sigh. I feel so mean. I want to help them I really do but it's annoying. But since I'm a casual, I have the rights to say NO when I do not want to work.

Good thing about having like 3 jobs is that you can always bluff about the others when you don't feel like working.

Is the worst kind of movie to watch!! Today the 4 of us were supposed to join this Bruneian guy for his bday but it was held at this pub. Loong and I were not feeling it so we went to this Thai restaurant. Called Thai Photong HAHHAHA.

It's like 80% of the place is restaurant and the rest is a shop selling Thai culture- inspired decors. The bar was lined up with statues of Buddha (oh mi tuo fuo wtf) and the ambience is good too.

Since I treated him to the seafood buffet yesterday, this dinner he paid la. I think quite expensive also. We ordered 1 entree which consists of 4 prawns on pieces of leaves and fried onion on top and 2 mains which are green curry and spicy prawn and the bill came up to $72.

Oh and the seafood buffet wasn't expensive at all thanks to my Starhot 50% F & B discount. Nick, Mizah and Loong had the buffet while I ordered something else. They had a bottle of white wine pfffffffft too and total is $151 after discount. Not bad la. Seeeeeeee, good to have a friend like me right. To share the benefits that I get with people!

Next time, we gonna dine in Westin!

After dinner at Thai Photong, Loong wanted to watch a movie. And the only movie available was Saw 5/6. T______T
He was damn happy to watch that movie ok. He nearly ran to the counter to get tickets and said it's payback time for making him watch Time Traveller's Wife. Fuck. 

The first time I watched that movie was 2 years ago at Yunn's place and I couldn't take it after 2 minutes. Can't believe I sat thru the whole movie!!! T_______________________T

Loong kept on holding my arms so I can't cover my face. And I was stupid. Coz I told him imma be on facebook thruoutt he movie and he took my phone! T___________________________T
And only gave it back when I promised I won't.

He said to give and take since I made him watch Time Traveller's wife. FYI, I did not! He's the one who said he wanted to watch it with me and he spent like half the time nodding off. Hmph.
Apparently, he didn't see the word 'wife' in the SMS i gave him which is why he said yes. He nearly braked the car when I told him it's something like The Notebook. Dayum!!

Today, a man sorta shouted at me in front of everyone although not very loud because I poured tea into his cup instead of giving him a POT of tea. Whatever. Jigsaw is gonna do something. Just kidding.

I WOULD NEVER HOPE FOR ANYTHING LIKE THAT TO HAPPEN TO ANYONE. OK MAYBE THOSE MURDERERS OR REALLY EVIL PEOPLE WHO DO EVIL THINGS JUST BECAUSE THEY FEEL LIKE IT.

I mean Jigsaw is kinda a hypocrite. He gets angry when someone 'decides' if someone lives or dies but what gives him the right to teach these people a lesson just because he thinks they are wrong?

Storyline is actually not bad la but just that all the gore and violence in the movie is just unnecessary. Damn. I can't stop thinking about Saw now.

Oh, today I did a room order and I am at the door right. I could actually hear a couple showering and talking together in the bathroom. I still rang the bell hoping they would somehow open the door but they didn't. The tray was heavy so I was a lil peeved off.

Went back to service area and ate some of their fries (guests never notice if we ate some of their food HAHHA). Waited 5 minutes and then try again. This time they opened the door.

People. Open the door when the bell rings ok. If u do not want your food being eaten.

Maybe I'm kinda destined to be busy :)

Coz I just received 2 extra shifts. One on Sat night for banquets and one for tomorrow morning in Mosaic.

I am halfway thru the Time Traveller's Wife novel and it is so good. I watched the trailer too and it made me cried a bit. Gonna cry bucketloads in the cinema. Hope not tho coz Nick and Mizah are gonna be with us.

Today is sigh....so hot I nearly became char siu pao. And it is going to get even hotter. After such a long time without yumcha, the food was damn good ok. Too bad I had to work at like 6pm, otherwise I could have join them for movie but whatever la. I'm watching the same movie with Loong tomorrow.

The ghost in level 4.

Did ya know there is actually a ghost in level 4 in Westin hotel?

Like everyone knew about it and it has been there since Westin was built. I didn't hear about it until tonight wtf. T_____________T

Apparently Reza heard her. He was at level 4 (bqts people usually work basement, level 4 or level 6 and he knocked on one of the meeting room's door. And asked "Is anyone in there?".

A lady answered "Yes?" and he went in. But there is no one inside. So he told Mikey. And Mikey said it has happened to several people.

He's such a huge guy and he said he never go to level 4 alone. Meh. 

FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK. Now I'm really scared to go to level 4 alone now. I've been there alone once. But I dun think it's gonna happen anytime soon.

But 'the lady' has been spotted between level 4 and 6. There is a old staircase which connects level 4 and 6 and it's always really dark there. Even though it's super bright outside and with light shining thru the window, that area appears dim. When we first started work in Westin, the woman who gave us a tour around Westin told us that a few managers on duty have seen a lady there.

Needless to say, I never take that stairs when I have to go from level 4 to 6 or vice versa. I always take the newer stairs.

If I were to guess who she is, I would say she is prolly one of the girls who worked there in the early 20s. Westin used to be a post offfice for Sydney. You know how in the past, letters get sorted manually and basically everything is done manually. We get to see pictures of some ladies working as phone operators along the hallway and you know, she might be one of them.

Haih......1 more month to go!!!!

I was supposed to be super free next week. Because believe it or not, I only have one shift in banquets which is Sun but we're just doing set-ups. Everyone got one shift too. Sucks when it's quiet. There's another shift at Frasers on Thurs for me bu it's like 5 hours too. So I planned to do a movie marathon or cook or something.

I msged Loong and asked him when he is free for seafood buffet at Four Points and movie. He's free the whole week too so I set Tues for buffet and we're gonna watch Time Traveller's wife!! I wanna watch that movie!!! Now he's the kind of person who prefers something more fast-paced to keep his attention. Like action movies, hot babes, tits etc. I didn't think he will want to watch it with me so I was like "It's a tear-jerker. If you dun wanna watch it, it's ok. I'll go there myself."

And then he replied "Great. You know I won't let you watch it by yourself". Awwwwwwwwwwwww! Damn worth my $70 to treat him that buffet. Such a good boy wtf.

So Tues booked already la right. Then he said he wanna watch 2012 too. It premiers on Thurs night so I said ok. Then I have Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday free. Then Julie msged me to join them for yumcha on Monday afternoon which I said yes. And today I also said yes to working in Mosaic on Monday night too. So now I have Wed, Fri and Sat free.

What else can I do to kill off Wed, Fri and Sat?? Damn no-life eh me. Have to resort to such thigns to fill my time. Dayum!!

I worked in Mosaic on Wed and today. Today ah, damn lucky! My first delivery early early in the morning already receive a tip. $5!

Then horrrr, the second order, the guy gave me $7!!

However, that was the last tip. Not bad la...At least got money right!

I think someone is also trying to tell me to buy another pair of working shoes coz my current pair is sorta falling apart. Actually not bad right! If you spend $25 on a pair of shoes and with it, you earned $13K. It's quite a fair investment.

I have been putting it off for SO long already because I was trying to milk the last remaining days of my shoes. Cheap.

Which is why I finally got another pair today at Kmart! The exact same pair. *kiss kiss*

Along with that, I bought a pair of black flip flops, a new set of cutlery coz the ones at home are all of different shapes/sizes/origins and it disgusts me. Also bought another set of noodle soup bowl. Coz we all eat shit like that. The cutlery set and bowls cost me $18 OK! I can go buy another pair of sandals already!

On a totally unrelated note, I LOVE KMART! So many cheap stuffs and I went crazy looking at all the appliances such as the samdwich maker, blender, toaster, grills and etc and also I like to look at the bed sheets and such.

Haih!! One day, I will pull Loong to Kmart with me so I can buy all of them and he can drive my stuff back home.

Ok, back to topic.

Once I reached home, I THREW all the old cutlery into the bin and place my new set of cutlery in place. So siok eh!

Put new bowls in the dishwasher. Start cleaning out the apartment. Threw the rubbish out, swept and mopped the floor and wiped the dining table. Everything feels so cleannnnnnnnn!

And I purposely did it in front of the other Chinese flattie who hardly cleans her stuff. Show her she gotta be a lil bit more diligent on cleaning her shit up!

The landlord's gonna be so sad if I decided to move out one day. Coz I'm the only one who actually helps him clean the apartment besides his gf and actually spends my hard-earned money on stuff for the apartment like clothes pegs, dishwashing liquid, sponges and etc. Damn!

Gawd! I think imma sleep now. Tomorrow banquets at 5.30pm! I hope Mosaic calls me for a Sun night. Coz Sat is taken and I am too late. Pffffffffffft.
