If I have not told you guys before, the banquets team is having our annual BBQ party at the beach (actually this year is only the second year wtf).
I actually bought a piece of swimsuit from eBay. It's from an Australian seller. The swimwear will be....................................a black one-piece *YAWNNNNNNNNNNNNN*
I figured that after the disaster last year where I got the bikini in the wrong size and wearing my exact size would risk having all the lumps and bumps being highlighted, I figured I am not allowed to wear two-piece anymore.
The BBQ party is next Sunday and I need to get my *ahem* waxed. Will pop in Leah's Waxwork on Fri before work to get the business done.
This year's gathering will be HUGE! Coz the last I saw nearly 30 people have already signed up for it so I guess you guys can stay tuned for lotsa pics..!! I'll try to take pic of/with every one working in bqts so you'll know the awesome (and not so awesome) people I work with.
Yeappp..just being a bitch there.

Term 7 is over! Which means final exams are just round the corner *shoo!*
My first final is HR Planning and Performance. *faints*
As much as I love that subject, the lecturer is somewhat kinda like a philosopher. He wants us to think critically about questions and argue our points. Damn! Do I look like someone who is capable of that? You know what, don't answer.
Despite having finals next week, I have 3 shifts at work too! >.>
When I tell people that I have exams and yet I have 3 shifts too, they were all 'But you have exams! Don't you need to study?".
I don't get it. Look at my timetable below and tell me if working 3 shifts is a lot. I don't think so.
My first exam is on Thurs. Tomorrow is Monday. I am going to college to tutor a Chinese girl named Cindy in Managerial Accounting plus research a bit for my HR exam in the school library,
Tues- I'm working whole day,
Wed - Study at home whole day,
Thurs - Sit for HR exam and after exam, another tutoring session with this guy for Econs,
Fri- Working whole day,
Sat - Korean class and working,
Sun- FREE! (actually need to study for my exams on 14th and 15th and oh! that beach party :p)
Mon - Study and practice Finance (ooooohhh, this one must study hard hard and smart smart wtf)
Tue - Finance final exam plus study for Stats
Wed - Stats final exam and then
I'M FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Then on the 19th, we'll have our annual Westin staff party and the theme this year is Bollywood Night!!
I have decided to dress up in a sari to fit in with the theme! Initially I wanted to work coz it was on a Sunday (Sun pay!) But Natalie wanted me to accompany her so I guess why not :P
To be honest, I'm quite sad coz fast forward 12 months later, I will not be in Westin anymore. I might be back in Brunei or some other country depending on what options I can find. It scares me to even think about it. To be honest, I do not want that day to come but the truth is I need to break away from this in order to move upwards. I cannot stay a banquet girl forever. As much as I love the people.
Oh! A side note wtf. I told the 60 year old man that I'm going to dress up for the staff party and he said "Oh, that is nice.... I'm sure no matter what you wear, you'll look extremely beautiful" and gave one of his charming smiles. Damn! How not to love him! I know I know..You bet he looked like a sleazy pervert saying that to me, sweet talkers are all fakes. I don't care.
So yeah! Bhavisha is going to lend me her sister's costume and I think we'll have so much fun on that day!! :))
Mary says she's going to to just sit at her table and eat lotsa curry and garlic naan bwahahaha!!
Michelle Phan recently did a makeup tutorial to match her Thai costume and I think I have found the perfect makeup for the annual party! :D
Whooooo!!! Now I'm excited!
********
Shit! Just realised that I could not make it to my Korean class dinner next Sat :(((( coz I have work! The teacher organised a dinner for all the students because next week is our laast class together. Oh bummer...
It's ok! I'm going for Korean class level 1 next year! Oooooo.....
And in between holidays, I'm taking up Spanish!!! There are a few places that offer beginner Spanish courses and they go for like $180 for 6 weeks for something like that. Pretty good since my holidays is only 2 months and once I finish my Spanish course, it is just in time for the Korean class level 1 to begin :)
