Once bitten, twice unfazed.

WTF.

I went shopping. Again. And blew $200. Which can be used to pay my rent instead.

Ohhhhhhhhh.

But I enjoyed it! Coz I got cheap finds such $10 tops. The best ok! I think the best price for spaghetti strap tops is 10 bucks. Why? Because they are made from so little material you'd feel stupid for paying anything more than 10 bucks.

Which is what I did for my last shopping trip. Aih.

I found this floral sleeveless top from the 75% off racks at Miss Shop and it didn't have a tag on it. So I asked the guy to help me look for it. He couldn't get it soo he just set it at $10. Siok!!!! The top damn nice ok. It was one size too big for me but that's what I like about it. It did not look slouchy and very effortless too. Perfect for lazy bums like me.

Then I bought a bikini too *shy*. HAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAH WTF!
Cannot arh! I'll only wear them when I'm using the pool at Loong's apartment. The pool is empty 99% of the time. So no one will ever see me in them.

My stupid sis wahhh. I ask her to find my old one-piece swimsuit, she ask my mum to find and she couldn't. And in the end, no swimsuit for me. But I had to get one. And I found the cheaper one. It was $50 while the rest from Roxy, Ripcurl all are $70 *sour*.

Trying on swimwear is quite disgusting. Coz other girls (or guys) for that matter have already tried them on. Although it says you must wear underwear when trying them on but girls usually wear G-strings one. Which is equal to NO PANTY la.

Bought that pair of shoes I saw last last week. I made a mistake. It wasn't $47. It was still $59. Humph. Whatever. New shoes!!!!

What should I buy next? Another pair of shoes?? I find that most of my shoes are neutral colours. But I like them like this. I can match more clothes with them.

But I want to own a pair of crazy-ass shoes with feathers, beads, sequins and whatnots.

***********

My chin is getting very very disgusting. I had a HUGE pimple a month ago and it was the worst pimple ever. It hurt for at least a week and left a scar on my chin. I did not even poke it or what. Just praying like mad everyday for it to go away.

But it didn't exactly left. And a few days ago, another pimple sprouted and altho it's not as bad as the previous one but I have a feeling, it's going to leave a scar too.

T______________________T

My pretty chin. My face is all I have that is presentable and not cacat. Once my face is disfigured, I have NOTHING left.

Pasties.

Edit: The tickets are confirmed! Woots!

Guess what guys?!!

I have booked 2 tickets to watch the Ruby Revue!! It's a cabaret-ish burlesque show!

They have an amazing lineup which includes The Gamble Sisters, Kitty Van Horne, Mimi Redlips and etc. And I am so excited to watch them next Sun on the Oct 11th! Well actually I booked the tickets and made payment through PayPal but it takes them several days to be confirmed so I hope I won't get bad news then.

Go to their website and have a look!

Why the sudden interest in burlesque you ask? Well, it's that sneak peek I got at Westin and now I'm hooked. Loong msg-ed me yesterday and he was like 'I have a surprise for you. But you may not like it'.

Damn suspicious right! Then I asked him how bad it is and he replied 'Oh..it's not that bad actually. You'll find out this weekend. You always do this to me so I'm doing this to you too. Haha.'

WTF.

Revenge la.............I bet he cut his hair wtf. He always tell me he likes his hair short so that he can wipe his head once and his hair would be dry already AHAHAHAHAH!!! But I told him he look better with more hair on his head.

We'll see if I'm right.

Oh where was I? Right. The cabaret show. Then I told him I'm interested in catching a burlesque show dis weekend that is if I can find one that might be showing anywhere in the city.

I thought he might just dismiss the idea and wanted to do something else instead like diet wtf. But he thought it sounded nice and told me to look for tickets and just let him know.

So which brings me to The Ruby Revue!!

Btw, they have a show in Melbourne too this Sun Oct 4th but with a different yet equally attractive lineup. So anyone who is in Melbourne might want to buy the ticket and 'looksee' wtf.

If I can, I'll fly to Melbourne just to watch them and come back to Sydney wtf.

*******

I'm halfway through Peony in Love. It's interesting la but some parts can be quite draggy which is ALWAYS the case in love story.

Blue gem.

My baby cousin Jeremy! He's so big now! Ang-gugu wtf!

Why his eyes look blue here ah? Hmm..for some reason he's not very fair. So damn brown one. But still very cute.

Aunt Justine did not drink enough soya bean milk during her pregnancy!! Man. I will bathe in soya bean milk if I have to during my pregnancy in the future if that's what it takes to get fair babies. But if my husband is black, then bo pien wtf.

Here is my sis with Crystal! Crystal is an exact photocopy image of Ina here. Aih. I miss Crystal and all her sohai antics.

Less than 3 months til I go home!

*********

This afternoon, I was debating with myself whether I should wake up, get ready and go shopping or just stay home and do chores.

Well, I have done my laundry on Sat night coz if I did not, I would have run out of underwear. Dayum! Even with so many pairs, I can still run out. It means I either need to buy more or do my laundry more often.

In the end, I chose to stay at home coz I have been out of the house every single day for the past week. I'm sure the bus driver is sick of seeing my face wtf that is if he happens to bump into me everyday.

Mosaic didn't call me up for a shift today. Woots!! Washed my hair, tried the hair removal cream and cooked my wrap fillings again. I haven't had it for like 5 days wtf.

And now I'm bored. Hmph. I wished shops do not close this early then I can muck around at home til 5pm and go out shopping til late night.

Banquets shifts are tomorrow at 1pm and Thurs - 9am. So Wed and Fri morning maybe Mosaic maybe Frasers I dunno.

I wanna be the lady in the martini glass.

Ok...just got back from 4 hours' work in IRD wtf.

To make it worse, I spent $70 on things that I need such as food, stockings, hair removal cream, toothpaste, detergent and so on.

The worst of all is that food only cost me about $30 and the rest are on things that I usually wouldn't give a shit about at home coz that's what you have your mum for. Tsk.

Haih.

Anyways, since the internet is up and going, I shall take full advantage of it and BLOG.

As I have said, the last few nights we had consecutive dinners in a row. And each night, the dinner had a different theme/entertainment.

1st night: They had this Greg Anderson guy who is apparently famous for his character which rides a horse and sings to entertain. His outfit damn bling la. Nearly blinded me wtf. So they brought a horse into the ballroom wtf.

The horse zoomed from one end to other and all the attendants were to stand at the side of the room in order not to end up in the hospital later on.

And he also showcased his skills in playing with the whip. Yes, THE WHIP. He is able to break a very short piece of ribbon held between 2 ppl by their mouths without hitting them. All that while being blindfolded.

Damn nerve wrecking la.

2nd night: The 2nd night was a charity dinner for people suffering from Down Syndrome. So they had these people with DS to perform on stage. It was funny tho and I don't meant that as a tease or mockery.

The performance was to show that altho these ppl are less fortunate than us but it doesn't mean they can't do what we can.

As usual they had the whole auction and raffle ticket bla bla bla.

3rd night: This dinner is if I have not forgotten should be for the women working in construction. Not like labourers kind of construction but more like town planning/architect maybe? and etc.

The dinner started with this lady who was all dressed up in her glitzy costume standing at the side of the ballroom. She walked among the tables and reached the stage.

Then she stripped down to her lingerie and sit in the martini glass filled with soapy water. She splashed some water onto her body and spun around in the glass. Woooo....

I bet all the guys loved that. The whole performance was so cool but it was also because they had the right song playing along. The song is called 'Diamonds are Forever' by Shirley Bassey but remixed to give it a more modern beat. Ok, i just googled it and the song is 'Diamonds are Forever' (The Mantronik Club mix).

4th night: The last dinner of the week. It's the Pink Ribbon Gala Dinner. Obviously for breast cancer. They had some guy who sang on stage and then a couple of ballerinas! So graceful.....*dreamy*

Looking at these events make me wanna graduate even faster and rack my brain for ideas and shit. The thing that makes me even happier is that I will prolly be Westin's client and Tania they all have to listen to me. HAH! Eat that!

Ok, come back Lesley Woon.

***********

Today I was still sleeping at 2pm when my mum called. Everytime my mum called, I have like nothing to say except to tell her how's work like and what I do when I'm not working which is nothing wtf.

Anyways, Loong was telling me how he video chats with his mum every 2 days.

'What do you guys talk about orh? My mum calls me once every 2-3 weeks and I still have nothing to talk about.'
'I talk to her about everything la! Well..appropriate things. Talk to her about my problems and tell her my life here. She shows me the dogs at home thru the video. You should do the same too. I'm sure your mum wants to know what's going on with your life and she wants you to share it with her'.
'*sigh*Oh. We'll see.'

I told her about how I walked home at 2am last night and then she got so worried hahah. I didn't wanna tell her at first coz I do not want her to worry. HAHAHAHAHHA!! Yeah right! I loved the fuss she made about me walking home at night.

Excuse me while I try to milk this little bit of attention to my satisfaction. What? Cannot ah? I grew up having no one to fuss over me coz I'm the eldest and people think I won't die one wtf. So a bit of attention once in a blue moon gives me reason to continue living wtf.

So yeah, she was like so worried and I was secretly delighted omg lightning will strike me one day. And I also told her about how the bitches at work is making life difficult for me. She then advised me on that matter. Suddenly she asked me about my dating life.

She's like so freaking sneaky! She started by asking about JW, Loong they all and then she suddenly said 'Daddy told me you are dating him right?'. I'm like 'Yeahhhhh......'.

And then the motherly advices start pouring in. You can date since you're grown up already, daddy mummy have no objection but you must never neglect your studies etc etc etc.

'Oh. Don't worry.'

Even with that, we only spoke ont he phone for 40 minutes. Fail.

**********

I have yet to start both my books. I think it'll come useful when I'm finally on the plane back to Brunei wtf.

The ticket is not yet booked.

Walking home at 2am on a Sat night/ Sun morning wtf.

Some of you might think it's the stupidest thing to do but I just consumed the largest amount of calories a girl can ever eat in a 30-minutes break. Which is infinity wtf.

And my sleeping pattern is once again screwed up. I can only fall asleep at around 5-6am.

What do you get when you are not tired and you desperately need to burn off those calories? You walk home! Geez. That was like sssssoooo rocket science *bimbotic laugh* wtf.

Although it was a 'party night', there weren't too many drunk people on the street. Yet. And it took me about 40 minutes to walk from Westin to my apartment. Which is better than what I expected. I tot it would take at least 1 hr considering my walking speed.

Haih...why did I eat so much in the first place? Well, I got a piece of salmon fillet with some asparagus and then that mahai JK piled on another piece together with a bowl of vegan rice coz his plate is already full HAHAHAHAHAH!!! Like a hungry ghost like that.

But when we reach the Lunchbox, he didnt wanna take them!! Soi yang until no cure this Korean pig. So I shared them with Sun Ju and Debby.

However, I myself have already brought a microwavable beef and potato curry from Coles. I didn't wanna bring it back home again coz it was the 2nd time already. So I put it in the microwave and shared it with Sun Ju too.

I was eating non-stop as well because I keep thinking it's the first day of period so I will just eat to my heart's content.

Damn period. It was SO unexpected. It felt like only 2 weeks ago when I had it. I was doing big business and then when I wiped, there was blood. I was like 'Wtf! Must be a mistake! Issit my asshole bleeding ah? How can my period come so fast??'

But it was no mistake. Period has started. *defeated sigh*

Sucks to work on your first day of period. And then the muscle cramps began to creep up during mains summore. *sighhhhhhhhhhh* fml

Work today isn't that bad at all. After working on 700pax dinners for 3 consecutive nights, a 400pax dinner looks like a piece of cake.

We finished at 1.45am and I even got a goodie bag from the event. Each bag contains a Marie Claire magazine, Lindt chocolates, Chups Chups, shopping vouchers and some 'How-to-get-rich-by-investing-in-properties' guide book. Loong would love that book coz his dad is already snapping up some properties around Australia.

I would loved the MC mag but the thing is I bought the exact same copy earlier in the month. FML.

*************

Although I like to have many shifts in Westin but sometimes, I'm really scared to bump into Andrea. Coz once he opens his mouth, it's always to ask me to work in Mosaic or IRD.

I have not even begin my break yet and then I saw him. He was like 'Lesley! Did you get my text message?'.

"No..coz I do not have my phone with me now."
"It's ok. Can you work tomorrow at 6pm?"
"Yeah sure. Why not?"
"Good! See ya!"

Working 7 days in a row sure is fun.

My total hours for this week is about 57 hours. I hope to work maybe 30-40 hours for next week. Then my total hours for 2 weeks will be approx 90-100 hours. Woots! Another 2K. Ok maybe not. But I shud get at least $1,500 after tax.

**************

I cannot sleep!!!

Shud I buy sleeping pills? You can get them without doctor's prescription right? That's why you get people who overdose on sleeping pills.

JK.

WTF.

Yes, yes, yes.

What is this shit?

As I have said in the last post, my last banquets shift this week was supposed to be last night. However, on Thurs Mike asked if I can work on Sat. My body was screaming 'NOOOOOOOO!' but my mouth said 'Yes'.

Today will be my 4 consecutive days in banquets. Long shift summore. It has been 4pm-3am shifts from Wed til last night. Today will be much better. Coz I start at 5.30pm and since there is no MEP after that, I can prolly go home at 1-1.30am.

And I was wrong in saying Frasers will call me to work this morning. They didn't. Which means oh fuck they might call me next week. NOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Next weekend is my time off. Hmm. I only have 2 shifts in banquets next week. I guess I ask for a weekday shift in Frasers. And then I get Fri, Sat and Sun off!!

I'll use Fri morning for shopping. And head off to Loong's at night.

************

Andrea was asking me to quit my Frasers job and said he'll give me the hours needed. Hmm.

I dunno.

Korean word of the day is.......

Stupid girl.

Last night is the 2nd time I nearly lost my phone becoz I was too stupid to remember to put in my bag after I change.

On a another note, the chair is black and the cover of my phone is black too so I can't see it sometimes.

Luckily on both occasions, it was night time and there is hardly anyone in the changing room. If daytime ah, long time gone lor.

************

Last night, I also met the bitchiest guest EVER. She was in room 1910. I had a trolley with 2 trays on it. Since her room is nearer so I went there first.

Me: *rings doorbell* Room service.
Guest: *opens door* Hey.
Me: *carries her tray inside the room*
Guest: Urm, I need the trolley.
Me: *stunned*

Why would I be stunned over such a trivial matter?

1) I can say nearly 99.9999% of the guests just take the tray with their food on it.
2) I need the trolley to bring the other tray up. It's heavy for me.

Me: Actually, I need the trolley to bring up the other tray. Can I just put it on your table?
Guest: NO. I need my table to work.
Me: *looks over to the nearly empty table*

MAHAI!!! I have seen tables way worse than hers and the guests willingly clear the table to make way for the tray. And FYI, she is not even a Starwood Preferred Guest. Ah ji ah jo. Motherfucker.

Me: Okayyyyyy. Then I'll have to send the other order first then come back to your room.
Guest: How long will it take?
Me: 5-10 minutes.
Guest: Where is the other room? Is it far away? I do not want my food to get cold. (Cold?? You better worry about eating floor dust with your gluten-free pasta later!!)
Me: It's just one floor up.. I'll come back later.

OMG!!!! After I done her order, I went back to IRD and told Micheal about how much of a bitch she is. He was like 'I know...! She complained 3 times in IRD and 6 times in Mosaic. '

Her nasal-y voice is still ringing in my ears dammit!

***************

I wish I can be a robot and work non-stop but the truth is I'm lazy and I can't.

I have 4 shifts in banquets this week. The first shift was on Monday. And the 3 shifts will be today, Thurs and Fri. All night shifts. Last night was in IRD. On Sat morning, for sure Frasers will ask me to work. And on Sun, back to Mosaic. Hmmm.

I wish I can go on a mini road trip or something with Loong. Just drive and explore all the small little towns. But for sure, he don't want coz he's lazy to drive.

But I will still try my luck and ask him.
