Today...

I decided to be extra lazy and came in to work at around 8.20am.

My male boss, Mr.Tan usually doesn't come in until 9am++. But today, he decided to be early and saw me enter the office at only 8.20am.

We had dinner in Excapade last night. I booked the room oredi at 8.30pm but when I called to confirm agn at 8pm, they told me they gave the room to someone else!! Tamade....Shit! Saying that one of the waitress made a mistake. WTH...
And they gave us 2 tables instead.
My sis and I were more into looking at guys than eating. Hehe...
The sushi chef and 2 of the waiters are hot!!!

My cousin and her 2 frens, Diana and Grace stayed overnight at my aunt's house. My mum ordered me to stay overnight with them.

And my couz, Hamchipeng told me that the 3 of them are going to join a singing competition in Curtin!!

My 'educational' talk with a BSP employee

Some BSP guy wanted his hard disk drive urgently so I volunteered to send it to him.

Reached HQ at abt 8.05am and went into his office.

A typical Chinese man sits inside. I don't know him at all. And he doesnt know me too. But we spent the next half an hour chatting.

Things he told me:
1) He got 2 daughters. One of them got 2 degrees wei....
2) Be careful when making frens.
3) It never harms to make more frens. He's got lotsa frens from all over the world.
4) Valentine's Day are meant for lovers only.
5) In order to be successful, dont take drugs and dun gamble. I gamble wor...Mati.
6) By my looks, I'll be successful. *blushes*
7) He's gonna retire in October.
8) I have no future in Brunei if I take event management. (Point taken). I shud work in China*Argh!!!* because they need ppl who can speak English and Mandarin. And because the opprtunities are plenty over there. *Me thinks: China wor....????Even HongKong or Japan would be better. But hey, he's well travelled and....dunno la*
9) I must be ambitious. Shud always strive for the best. Means open up my own event management company!!!! Anyone getting married?? I'm available. Call me! *winks*
10) And although I shud have high expectations, I shud also realise that there are plenty of less fortunate ppl out there and I'm very lucky to have almost everything. He's a Christian. Go figure...

And one thing he told me is sooo funny. But can't write it here YET. Maybe when I get out of this company la. Hehe...

Sometimes, I wish I can use one whole day to listen to what these guys have to say when they are trying to give advice. Some of them have pretty good points.

My trip to the dentist

I finally took the time to go to the dentist in Panaga Hospital(because my gum is hurting like really bad). Dunno why..but Panaga Hospital just reminds me of mental health institutions. Like I can sooo imagine bumping into a guy with his hands wrapped around his body and with a blank look on his face. And another one banging his head on the wall just by the corner. Weird...

Anyways, back to my dentist. Doctor Sherry. Even her name sound so alcoholic already.....

As usual, she told me I took good care of my teeth and it's all fine and bla bla bla....(Op cos la..)
She told me not to worry about the 2 wisdom teeth growing out. And asked me to proceed to the X-ray room.

The nurse told me to remove my cheapo $2.90 steel earrings.
Why ha? Can the physics students tell me? Will it be torn from my earlobes?*ouch..*
When the whole X-ray machine thingy was scanning round my head, it shook a bit and made a loud screech. I was so scared the whole thing was gonna explode in my face! But...dun hab la...

Doctor Sherry gave me a transparent toothpaste which taste like shit. Urghh.....She said it contains a whole lot more fluoride than ordinary toothpaste and will help to protect me from any gum infection. Wahseh....so 'geng' meh?

I tot fluoride is supposed to taste like the spearmint candy..no meh?? And my super 'geng' toothpaste tasted like poison. I dunno if I'm supposed to use the super 'geng' toothpaste oni or shud I use the ordinary toothpaste before that.

Anyways, I had Thai food for dinner last night with lotsa chilli....Went home and brushed using the super 'geng' toothpaste only. Woke up today with chilli breath. -.-"
CB.....So from now on, I have to brush two times twice a day. It better make my teeth guminfection-free and *sparkling white*........Pling pling!!


Fun fact about me: I hate to drink non-cold dairy products like milk. Actually in Brunei, I hate to drink anything that's not cold.

Why like tat one orh??

Overall, Harry potter was just ok. Didn't live up to the hype.

Bad:
1) Many Harry's emo moments.
2) The fighting scene lacked the 'oomph' or 'X' factor. Nothing special. Esp the fight between Voldemort and Dumbledore and Harry. It felt like Voldemort gave up after a while. He could have finished off Harry with a snap but dunno why he didn't. And in one scene, Dumbledore and Voldemort were engaged in a 'water-versus-fire-coming-out-from-palms-Dragonball-style' fight, for a second it looks like Dumbledore wasn't paying attention and was looking somewhere else instead.
3) The centaurs shrink in size ha? Looks so small and wussy one. The one in the first or second movie was so macho man.....(with the YMCA song in background.)
BuffyRicky said maybe it was because in the first movie, Harry was still short so that's why the centaurs looked big.
4) Nymphadora or Tonks(correct?) wasn't what I imagined her to be. I actually pictured her to look something like mannequins in shopping malls. Not the pretty ones but the ones which looks like as if they are laughing out loud and has short spiky hair.
5) The kiss, of coz. There is absolute zilt chemistry. I don't need to be Ancelm or Roland to give them a big fat juicy F for chem.
6) The way Sirius died. So fast lar...At least make it longer or more dramatic ma. Was fighting with so much style but a side shot from Bellatrix killed him and he just got sucked into the port/cloudy door/whatever shizz.
7) The Patronus spell looks like a lil fart some Japanese cartoon characters lets out. Nothing at all like the one he conjured in Prisoner of Azkaban which managed to ward off hundreds of Dementors.

Good:
1) I really like the fact that this time Harry has his frens who can fight with him as well. I mean it's not all about him anymore. Pretty cool to have a group of frens to help you.
2) "Dumbledore got style...". Couldn't have been anymore right. The way he escapes oso got like the cheerleading moves summore.
3) The Weasley twins rocks! They are super funny le...Hogwarts would be boring without them next year.
4) The flying scene where Harry, Moody, Tonks and someother were flying around in London(?). They flew past this super nice building (i dunno wat issit). The background music was so..semangat-giving. Made me feel like I was on a broom flying with them. Hehe....
5) I also like the way Ron stands up for Harry. U're the man, Ron Weasley.

So..that's all. Go watch it. And I oso need to point out that this review is coming from someone who read the book 2years ago half-heartedly.
In my opinion, people still go to watch the movie although they have read the book just to see if the characters and situations turns out to be the way they pictured it to. At least that's what I do.

Anyways, back to bitching. I cannot even stress how good Tiger is at planning trips and managing his time. He told me he'll be in Bandar early so can't bring us. Fine. So BuffyRicky will bring us instead. I told Tiger tat BuffyRicky needs to pick us up at around 10.30am or so. He says ok. Come yesterday, GentleViv and I were waiting for BuffyRicky at her house. 11 plus oredi still no sign. Called him and turns out he didn't know what time he's gonna pick us up. (Cold sweat...). And Tiger is at his house(more cold sweat).

Me thinks his Bandar trip didn't make it(must be..).

12plus then only then we leave for Bandar. Have to rush to the Mall to get the tix le. Tiger and Anthony still has time to sit down and eat summore arh...I seriously want to tampar him liau.
And for the jeans that he was wearing yesterday too. I would have burned it long time ago.

We went to Fleur-De-Lys for afternoon high tea with TalkCockIkmal. The sandwiches there are nice. I shud have order the sandwiches instead of the mushroom quiches. I felt super queasy after eating it. Maybe it was the ice mocha I had as well. Good place. I definitely want to go back there agn.

On the way home, I told BuffyRicky to drop me off at I-Lotus. We missed the junction into I-Lotus and drive all the way to look for a U-turn and ended up on our way to Muara....-.-"
Made an illegal U-turn and finally found it.
It's ok, Ricky. At least now, you'll remember the way to I-Lotus FOREVER.

Had dinner there. The happiest moment was this conversation I had with my 12-yr-old cousinf from Canada.

Lessons

I'm in Grade 4 now. Nothing much new. Just more laps and have to dive deeper. That is 2.6m into the pool. Oh..and the teacher ask us to play 'plastic hoop rugby'. Pukima siau....I'm 19-to-be oredi. and I have to play rugby with a bunch of 10 yrs old. Ok..that is not SO humiliating. What's most humiliating is during the beginning of the lessons, I was the slowest to finish my laps. *gasps and long pia*

La-ki-ry I redeem myself at the end coz I wasn't the slowest when swimming the longer laps. But still....

I have lousy breast stroke skill. As a result, this.

Boy oh boy...You cannot even imagine my humiliation. But the teacher was kind. he told me that my stroke was wrong so that's why I was in the middle of the pool for a minute or so. Must start to go to BSRC more often now.

Hiking on a Sunday afternoon

What ever the hell possessed me to agree to go hiking at 1pm?
I dunno.

Fast forward, I reached forgotwhat'sthenameoftheplace. I'll just call it the Labi park. It looked pretty on the outside. Many people were having their Sunday picnics there. My uncle,aunt,mum, me and sis and my 5 yr old cousin were there all ready to do some serious hiking. Off we go....to a bad start.

After climbing maybe 50 steps, my sis being the slimmest of us all was already panting her ass off. I'm surprised that I wasn't panting as much as her. Har har..........Memang dia itu water Pig.

Then we continue...walking under the hot sun. Stooooooopid.
Walking and walking and walking.
I eksiden-tally stepped into a puddle of mud and dirtied my shoes. And the sole came off! Hai...Memang saya ini Land Pig.
So that cut short our hiking time. We went home after 1 hour of hiking only.

I wouldn't mind doing it again.
And of course I have to bitch about this Labi Park. It wouldn't be me, Lesley, if I didn't bitch.

There's a 'swimming pool' in the park. To me, it's a longkang. The 'pool water' is brown in colour..!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And all the lako-s swimming in there are having so much fun. In the brown water. They're spitting in the pool too. Oh my freaking god!
You give millions of dollars also I won't step into the pool ar..>.<

Me: So digusting le the water. They so syok again.
Sis: Ya lo...I think they never seen the real pool b4 ar...
Me: Ya..Maybe we should go BSRC and take a pic of the clear blue pool water and show them what a real pool is like.

I so benci those people who customise their friendster page without using their brain.

Fat bitch

Hamchipeng and I were in VivoCity when this happened.

We were sitting in the shoe department when this weali weali weali huge lady walked by. I think she has just given birth la...SO big and tall. Like a Godzilla with boobs and vagina.
She's approximately 6 feet away from us. And I told Hamchipeng, " I would never let myself be that fat should I ever get pregnant" in a pretty loud voice. Hamchipeng laughed.
You see the problem with me is whenever I speak, I never think or look around. That gets me in a lot of trouble..

And of course, she heard me. Turned around to look at me. Gave me the 'Fuck U' face and refused to budge from her spot. She was standing there staring daggers at me for a whole 5 minutes with her chinky slit eyes. I also looked at her for a while la.

And then she mouthed the word 'bitch' at me. I couldn't help but smiled.

But honestly, I still don't think the whole incident is all my fault. I wasn't laughing or making fun of her. Just stating that I dun want to get very very very fat that's all. She's being very paranoid because she's huge. Sheesh...Get over it. If you hear someone calling you fat, you have 2 choices.

1) Go home and bawl your eyes out. Get up and go to the kitchen eat some more. Continue this for 5 years.
2) Go home and bawl your eyes out. Get up and head for outdoor. Do some exercise and eat less. Continue this for 5 years.

I've been doing No.1 for about a year now. I feel great..!!

I no understand artists

Artists as in those people who do art, paintings and lalalalala......
Some girls like artists because they are full of 'life', 'ideas', 'creativity', 'passion' and i say CRAP.

These artists don't have a steady income. Sometimes it's up to the girl to support him.

They are very temperamental. One minute they can be all emo-ish because they have no 'inspiration' and the next, they can be very happy because he/she found one. The girl has to put up with all this drama.

I don't think they can take any criticism. If one said anything bad/wrong about art, they'll get all defensive and storm off. Everything is subjected to critism. Suck it up and move on. (Fine, u can ponder about it but don't lash out at others. It just makes you look bad.)


I'll never ever ever ever have an artist as my boyfriend. I dun want to put myself in these kind of situation.

I've seen too many drama series with these scenes.
